Finally the wait will soon be over Summer Set fans because their new album comes out on April 16. Summer Set, a rock/emo/rock-pop band, releases their new album, Legendary, through Fearless Records. The new album has 12 songs; Maybe Tonight, Jukebox (Life goes on), Boomerang, Lightning in a Bottle, Heart on the Floor, F*** U Over, Happy For You, The Way We Were, 7 Days, Someday, Rescue, and Legendary.

Summer Set is a fairly new band, started in 2007, but they have rapidly gained popularity. Their first EP, Love the Love You Have, sold 7,000 copies and they sold 11,000 copies of their EP In Color. The band gained popularity by becoming friends on Myspace with prominent bands and recruiting the other bands fans. The band used the Internet constantly to win over new fans. John Gomez (guitar, piano, back up vocals) and his brother Stephen Gomez (bass) started the band with long time friend Jess Bowen (drums) as well as Josh Montgomery (guitar), and Brian Dales (vocals). The band chose the name “Summer Set” by opening an Atlas and putting the pointer on Somerset, New Jersey.

Summer Set first signed on with Razor and Tie. The bands music has been used through television syncs on shows like “Dancing With The Stars”, “Jersey Shore”, “10 On Top”, and “Hard Times of RJ Berger”. The band is from Scottsdale, Arizona. They released their first album Love Like This in 2009.

Summer Set goes on Warped tour this summer starting on June 15 in Auburn, Washington. The band is playing two shows in California on June 19 in Chula Vista and on June 22 in Mountain View. All of Summer Sets music is available for purchase in preparation for watching them on Warped Tour this summer and be sure to check out Summer Sets new album on sale April 16.
